International Navigator Leadership Program: Scholarships for Young Hungarian Roma
Within the framework of the Decade of Roma Inclusion, Common Purpose Hungaryand the Open Society Institute are providing three talented young Hungarian Roma with scholarships to participate in the Common Purpose International Navigator leadership development program that begins in November 2009.
Forty to fifty outstanding young leaders from the government/local-government, business and nonprofit sectors in Hungary will take place in the International Navigator program. The participants will encounter specific locations and situations in Hungary, and struggle with actual leadership challenges that are fundametally different from those they have previously experienced. In the course of the program, they will also learn and work together with participants in an International Navigator program that will be taking place in London at the same time.
