English language training at the American University of Bulgaria
The Roma Initiatives of the Open Society Institute (Budapest) and the Regional Policy Development Centre (Sofia) are pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for 8-month-long intensive English language training at the American University of Bulgaria (AUBG) in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.
The training will start on January 19, 2010. Applications are welcome from Roma university graduates from the EU member states participating in the Decade of Roma Inclusion (www.romadecade.org).
The intensive English language training aims to improve the personal development of prominent young Roma by developing their English language skills.

Please note that the Call is going to be launched in Bulgarian, Romanian, Hungarian, and Slovakian language.
The deadline for submitting the applications is October 23, 2009.
List of all obligatory application documents
· Application in native language
· Copies of high school and university diplomas (for candidates who have completed their university degree course, but who have not yet received an official degree certificate, a formal official statement from university confirming the degree result is sufficient.In some instances, we will accept students who are enrolled in university and have completed at least 75% of their studies.)
· Two recommendation letters
· Essay (in native language) of approximately 1000 words explaining the candidate's motivation for applying for the English language training
