July 25, 2011 - The International Network Against Cyber Hate (INACH) is appalled and saddened by the terrorist acts that took place last Friday in Norway, committed by an ultra-nationalist/populist who appears to have radicalized under the influence of online hate and who used the internet to spread his ideas and incited to hatred. We express our sympathies to the victims and their families of this tragedy.

 

Belgrade, February 2, 2011 - Praxis, Regional Centre for Minorities, CEKOR - Center for Ecology and Sustainable Development and CHRIS - Network of the Committees for Human Rights in Serbia have submitted information to the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on the occasion of the Initial Periodic Report of Serbia.

Twelve NGOs gathered in Leskovac on December 21 to sign the Memorandum on Creation of Anti-Poverty Network in Serbia. The "Networking against poverty" Project is implemented by SeConS development initiative group, in partnership with European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN).

Coalition against Discrimination has the pleasure to conclude that in the Progress Report on Serbia, the European Commission has dedicated due attention to the antidiscrimination issue. Regional Center for Minorities held a two-day training on the right to housing intended for activists from Roma and human rights organizations. Training was organized on 24th and 25 October 2010. in New Bečej for participants from Belgrade and Vojvodina and 26th and 27th October in Leskovac for participants from Central Serbia.
