Regional Center for Minorities held a two-day training on the right to housing intended for activists from Roma and human rights organizations. Training was organized on 24th and 25 October 2010. in New Bečej for participants from Belgrade and Vojvodina and 26th and 27th October in Leskovac for participants from Central Serbia.

The primary objective of the training was to strengthen capacities of Roma and human rights organizations in the field of housing, especially their capacity to document and react to violations of human rights in the housing.

 

The training was led by Leticia Osorio, director of the Legal Clinic for Human Rights in Essex, a member of the UN-Habitat Advisory Group on Forced evictions and longtime activist of Center On Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE).
